Across the street from your urban abode includes Denver Performing Arts Complex and Larimer Square, both ripe for exploration and exciting parts of the Western American culture here.

We have a soft spot for hotels with charisma, hence why The Curtis Hotel won us over. Why leave the animated arts and theater district of Denver at the door when it can carry on into your suite? Each floor has been tastefully given a theme, each of which boasts a variety of unique features and decor. Our favorite room? It has to be the Jimmy Buffet room on the ‘One Hit Wonder’ floor.  Think exotic marine life cushions, deck chairs, and a beach scene sketched on the walls. Oh and let’s not forget the sweeping views of the Rockies beyond your window. These pop culture rooms are almost as infectious as the capital itself.

Why we like it

With such eclectic, quirky décor and an in-house martini bar, what’s not to like? But you’re there to see the city too, so we love that this Hotel is in the thick of Denver’s cosmopolitan theater district. Wander from street to street soaking up the music pumping from the Saloon Bars, or sit back on the red velvet seats and enjoy an evening of Broadway or Opera.
