The Omphoy

Chic, stylish and somehow imbued with an atmosphere of complete serenity, the Omphoy is one of Palm Beach’s most sought after offerings. Dimly lit and dominated by two imposing angular columns, the entrance hall immediately signals a sleek design aesthetic that runs throughout the entire building. As close to the beach as you could get, an elegant glass staircase leads you up to a spacious bar area and out onto a wide beachfront terrace – perfect for those of us who never want to stray more than a couple of steps from the sand.

Location

Set on South Ocean Blv and backing straight onto the beach, the Omphoy occupies a pretty enviable piece of land as the only beachfront boutique on the Island. If you happen to prefer shopping to sunbathing, you’re also within easy reach of some top-end labels on glamorous Worth Avenue.

Your room

Decorated with dark woods and chrome colored tiles, the rooms at the Omphoy expertly blend contemporary and cozy to create the ideal living space. Large four poster beds are draped with a dark mesh-like material made from raw silk and swathed in fine white linen, whilst sleek bathrooms boast oversized bathtubs and separate walk-in showers. Floor-to-ceiling windows lead out onto your very own wraparound balcony, perfect for a post-dinner drink or two before retreating back into the sanctuary of the bedroom for the best night’s sleep you’ve ever had

Why we like it

In keeping with the hotel’s calming vibe, The Omphoy’s Spa, Exhale, offers some of the best massages about.  Choose from a range of different aromatherapy oils and feel the knots fall away. After an afternoon of pampering head up to the stylish O-Bar for a few of their signature cocktails served up alongside a great selection of tapas dishes. Our personal favorite is the Chupucabra, a spicy blend of tequila, mint and chilli…not for the faint hearted.
