California Live: Sonoma

Lush and wild, the rolling landscape of Sonoma County has won the hearts of many travellers. Sleepy roads wind their way through beautiful farmland that is littered with vineyards – and with the added appeal of exploring it all in a vintage Chevy, our film team were enamoured by the area instantaneously.

With all its colourful contrasts, Sonoma is ripe for capturing on film and finding visual inspiration was no hard task. Fecund greenery heavy with grapes, against golden hilly fields; sun-drenched vines stretching out to a cooler, rugged coastline; the buzz of the town and lively, inviting wineries that off-set the silence of the towering redwood trees. There is so much to see here (and its best done at a slow pace) but until you get there yourself, which you must, here’s a snippet of what waits in Sonoma.
