Learning the ropes of travel in a five-star hotel in Thailand is what brought me to Black Tomato. I’d seen how people had stayed, and unwound, but I wanted to learn more about what they did when they left the hotel’s door. You can chalk much of that curiosity to my earliest childhood, when my family moved to Singapore. I was six. During those years, I was lucky beyond belief; spending half-terms horseback riding in Margaret River and summer vacations rambling along the Great Wall of China. Some of my fondest school memories include nights spent in a tribal longhouse in the jungles of Sarawak and performing a traditional Rajasthani dance during an exchange programme to India. My feet barely seemed to touch the ground.

Now, I spend much of my time in Black Tomato’s product team forging strong relationships and developing new experiences with our on-the-ground partners all over the globe. Outside of work, you’ll likely find me plotting my next European weekend break or else looking to see how many ski trips I can fit into a single season. Happiest when on the slopes, I’ll debate the topic of snow vs sun for hours.
