I spend a lot of my free time planning my next trip – or being on one. That shouldn’t come as too big a surprise for somebody who works in travel, but my journey to Black Tomato took a few twists and turns through property and insurance. But, as somebody who really thrives in personable, ever-changing environments, and who spends so much time thinking about travel, it seems inevitable that I’d end up making it my career.

Today, as an Operations Expert, I’m one of the people who bring the finishing touches of your trips together; paying attention to all the ‘little’ details – like travel documents, restaurant reservations, and travel logistics – that make a trip come together as a seamless, single ‘thing’. Thoughtfulness has always been a core value of mine, and this role is a place for me to make thoughtfulness shine. I enjoy it because I get to be part of a process that creates something special for our clients, and I take a lot of joy in making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
