Working in aviation brought me very close to the world, but I often found myself less interested in where the planes were going than what their passengers did when they landed.

Perhaps you could chalk this curiosity down to the family road trip I’d taken as a child – driving the long, winding way from London to Greece. These five weeks would, much later, become known as ‘five go mad in Europe’. It’s a memory we treasure to this day.

Working as a Client Relations Executive at Black Tomato allows me every opportunity to satisfy those ‘flighty’ questions. Now, I spend much of my day talking to travelers about their journeys, their dreams, their desires; not only where they want to go, but the things and feelings they want to experience when they get there. For me, there’s nothing more precious than hearing someone reflect on a remarkable journey; be it a life-affirming trek through Morocco’s Atlas Mountains or a sprawling multi-generational family safari in Botswana. Finally, I get to know where all these people are going.
