Symbolic of Barcelona’s brilliant, longstanding artistic genius, the quirky, yet elegant Casa Fuster is an inspiring work of art representative of the late 19th century ‘Catalan Modernism’ movement. Designed by the modernist architect, Lluís Domènech i Montaner and built in 1908, the Casa Fuster is iconic and perfectly positioned in the heart of Barcelona, boasting a truly picturesque panorama of the city. Casa Fuster features 105 rooms and is your ultimate urban escape in easy reach of all culture hotspots, so you’ll enjoy either relaxing by the rooftop pool or exploring this Catalonian gem.
The Passeig de Gràcia is Barcelona’s answer to Paris’ Champs-Élysées, and at the north end of this vibrant strip of chic shops and restaurants is where you’ll find the luxury Casa Fuster. Only 15 minutes’ drive toward the town centre from Barcelona’s El Prat airport, the Casa Fuster is no long transfer and boasts an unbeatable location with a view to uncover the city. From Antoni Gaudí’s celebrated Sagrada Família to the Picasso Museum, most highlights are a charming amble away.
Spacious and stylish, showcasing an interesting blend of avant-garde meets traditional feel, rooms are equipped with all mod cons and reflect a relaxed and comfortable ambience to rest up in. Wide beds, pristine bathrooms, complimented with soft colours throughout, the Casa Fuster ensures to maintain first-class comfort and service, so sleep well after your days out sightseeing.
Why we like it
Fancy an evening of Jazz swing? The Casa Fuster’s very own Café Vienés is in fact a renowned Barcelona meeting point, offering a tasty array of cocktails, so take a step back to the 1920s and get your ‘Great Gatsby’ on with a glass of champagne. Galaxó, the Casa Fuster’s restaurant, is also a city favourite, serving authentic locally sourced Mediterranean dishes – we loved the Catalan-style chicken with plums, apricots and pine nuts.
