LOCATION

Le Toiny occupies a hillside on the island’s quieter southeastern coast, well away from the energy of Gustavia and St. Jean. The setting is rugged and private, with sweeping Atlantic views. Gustavia, with its restaurants and boutiques, is a short drive when you want it.

YOUR ROOM

The 22 suites span four categories – Junior, Signature, Spirit, and a two-bedroom Villa Suite – each with a private heated pool, a spacious terrace, and unobstructed ocean views. Décor runs to sandy beige, bright white, and driftwood grey, with light wood floors, four-poster canopy beds, soaking tubs, and L’Occitane bath products throughout. Our preferred option is the two-bedroom Villa Suite: two pavilions arranged around a large terrace with a private pool, ideal for small groups or families seeking the seclusion of a private retreat within the hotel.

Le Toiny works best for couples and small groups who want privacy and a polished experience without the scale of a larger resort. With only 22 suites, the property never feels busy, and the service model is built around individual attention. Those who care about food and wine will find La Table a genuine draw. Families with older children are welcome – the two-bedroom Villa Suite provides the extra space and privacy to make a family stay work especially well. Very young children are better suited in one of Le Toiny’s exclusive villa rentals dotted across the island.

Le Toiny has taken deliberate steps to reduce its footprint: single-use plastics have been removed across the property, and the kitchen prioritizes locally sourced, seasonal ingredients to support island producers and shorten supply chains.
