Lounging regally along a picturesque stretch of the Thu Bon River, we’ve picked out Life Heritage Resort due to its world-class facilities, excellent service and great location. Explore the vibrant old town of yet another of Vietnam’s UNESCO World Heritage Sites from a hotel of genuine class.
Dating back to the 15th century, Hoi An was once a bustling mercantile hub, a Vietnamese trading post attracting travellers and business from France, Holland, China and Japan. A short stroll from the old town and just 4km from the breathtaking white sands of Cua Dai Beach, Life Heritage Resort is the ultimate luxury base from which to explore the best and most beautiful of Hoi An and the surrounding area.
Huge and wonderfully comfortable, each of the resort’s rooms looks out to excellent views of the Thu Bon River or the beautifully maintained gardens. Throw in a high speed internet connection, satellite television and excellent bathroom facilities, and you’ll see why this is one of the places setting a new benchmark for quality among Vietnam’s hotels.
Why we like it
The mantra of the Life Resort is to stimulate all of man’s ‘ten senses’. Now, up until now we’ve been pretty happy with the standard set of five, but here at Black Tomato we’re out for all the new experiences we can get our excitable travel-tanned hands on. The über calm pervading the excellent wellness facilities adds to the sensory, body-loving bliss provided by the resort’s friendly and oh-so thorough professionals. A commitment to the ancient art of Feng Shui provides a sense of perfect balance to the surroundings and, before we know it, we’re there wanting an eleventh sense – just so the geniuses behind Life Resort Hoi An can satisfy it for us.
