When exploring today, the adventure element of travel is always my top priority. I’ve slept in huts with the Maasai in the sweeping plains of the Mara and with tribes in Papua New Guinea. I’ve lived in Hong Kong, and I’ve tackled the slopes for a couple of ski seasons too. Each experience has allowed me to pursue my curiosity around the world; wherever the road might take me.
I’ve been an Operations Expert at Black Tomato for a couple of years; making sure our trips run smoothly and that our travellers have everything they need before, during, and after they return home. Most important of all is the attention to detail, and thoughtfulness, that really makes a trip run like clockwork.

A closer look at MongoliaStaying with a family of eagle hunters in western Mongolia, I explored the sweeping steppe by horseback, helping to herd cattle and sheep before breaking bread together each evening.
It was humbling (and fascinating) to witness a way of life that is completely different to my own. One day, they told me we were heading out. So, I got ready, only to soon find myself riding alongside 20 eagle hunters as we headed to a local eagle festival. It was a lot of fun telling the other travelers who I’d arrived with.
