Rafting down white-water rapids in Turkey, riding camels up a volcano in Lanzarote, and skiing in the Austrian alps were all very memorable, landmark moments for my life in travel. But it was spending time volunteering at a turtle conservation centre in Costa Rica, before I started college, that gave me a very different perspective on the world – and what I could experience in it. Standing in the midst of a torrential tropical storm on a beach at midnight, watching a newly hatched turtle make its long journey through the sand and into to the seas for the very first time. That’s something I’ll never forget.

From there, I spent a few seasons in the French Alps working in the travel industry, before joining Black Tomato. As part of the operations team, it’s my job to get every show seamlessly on the road – weaving in plenty of thoughtful touches whilst fixing all the logistics for our travelers’ trips. When I’m not working, I try to head to the mountains to ski as often as possible. It’s my biggest passion and I could spend all day talking about it – but I’ll spare you this time.
