Location
Located just outside Oracabessa on Jamaica’s northeast coast, GoldenEye’s location is second to none. The resort is hidden amongst vibrant tropical vegetation and has its own private beach and lagoon whilst also lying within walking distance from Jamaica’s famous James Bond beach. The secluded location adds to the slow pace of life here, yet the natural surroundings mean there is lots of exploring to be done. Snorkel amongst the expansive coral reefs, Jet Ski or kayak with a picnic to James Bond Beach before ending your day with a cocktail in the Gazebo restaurant as you watch the sunset on a day well spent.

GoldenEye offers its guests the chance to stay in Fleming’s own five-bedroom villa as well as in an array of beach and lagoon villas and cottages. Each residence exudes a traditional Caribbean feel, with uniquely designed wooden furniture sourced from the island and private decks from which you can watch those famous Caribbean sunsets. With the spacious interior designs and stunning views of all these villas, you’ll be feeling relaxed and at home in no time.
Why We like It
Whilst we love nothing more than kicking back and relaxing on a secluded beach, we also love it when a resort offers the chance for exploration. GoldenEye provides its guests with the opportunity for mountain biking, Kayaking, snorkelling and paddleboarding to name a few, so, if you ever find yourself getting a bit too relaxed, there’s always something to keep you occupied until it’s time for that delicious jerk chicken dinner.
