Discover Kuala Lumpur

After departing from your hotel, you will journey along the longest bridge in the world to reach Kuala Lumpur. You will be staying in Villa Samadhi for two nights, a boutique hotel which is host to tranquil and beautiful surroundings and is just on the outskirts of the hustle and bustle of the city centre. The food that you will sample tells a story of history about the city and will take you back in time so you can understand where the food originated from. If Nasi Lemak, the local fragrant rice dish, doesn’t take your fancy then why not try the Chee Cheong Fan, the rice noodle roll. Return to your hotel for a much needed rest and enjoy a dip in the over-sized plunge tub situated in the big bathroom, a personal favourite of ours.

Relax in Tioman Island

Saving the best bit till last, after a short 35 minute flight you will land on Tioman Island, a little slice of paradise on Malaysia’s eastern coast that’s covered in thick jungle just waiting to be explored.  The next few days are all about beach bliss and you’ll be staying at Jampamala Resort one of our favoruite romantic retreats for three nights. The next few days offer you a chance to unwind and relax and become at one with this secluded environment. Your quaint hotel is nestled into the surrounding jungle and has stunning views of the glistening ocean below. The dragon-like appearance of Tioman Island is at the root of a legend surrounding its origin; a dragon princess from China was flying to her Prince in Singapore and stopped to rest in these calm waters. Enamoured by the beauty of the area, she decided to stay and take the form of an island. Unsurprisingly, given that it is literally the stuff of legend, the scenery is spectacular; dense tropical jungle and countless streams and waterfalls which sustain many protected species. The waters surrounding the island are filled with vibrant corals and diverse sea creatures, perfect to take some striking pictures on a snorkeling trip armed with an under-water camera. During your stay, you can relax by the beautiful pools and soak up the sun at the hotel, or engage with your adventurous side and explore the surrounding environment by embarking on epic treks, scuba diving around the entire island or taking a boat trip to explore Monkey Bay or the Mukut Village. After three days of relaxing, it is time to head home and savour those memories of a truly exhilarating trip.
