LOCATION

A representative will meet you at Male International Airport (the gateway to the Maldives) where you’ll then board a short 45minute flight to the unspoilt Laamu Atoll. The final stage is a 25-minute jaunt on a speedboat, grazing over the calm Indian Ocean. So to put it plainly, you are in the middle of nowhere, but it couldn’t be more appealing.

Whichever you opt for, the tropical forest or hovering about the lagoon, we can promise it’ll be an unforgettable stay. Each villa comes with its own iPod and Bose sound system, perfect for the sunbathing sessions. A personal butler comes as standard too. Our choice (it was extremely difficult, trust us) would be to stay at a Six Senses Laamu Water Villa. It has the perfect spot for breakfast suspended over the stunning azure waters, and who needs a swimming pool when you have the Indian Ocean only a jump away?

We all love a bit of island lounging, but sometimes you want to be a little productive (only sometimes though). Six Senses Laamu offer a great range of water sports, snorkelling, windsurfing, surfing, wakeboarding, even spot dolphins while cruising on a catamaran. A sumptuous Island heaven.
