If you’re looking for the perfect beach retreat, look no further than the first-class Esperanza Resort, Mexico. A truly luxurious hotel with 50 rooms, the Esperanza is peacefully located at the southern tip of the Baja Peninsula and is conveniently set over beautiful, private sandy beaches, overlooking the deep blue Pacific waves. The Esperanza offers an authentic touch of Central American architecture with its quintessential terracotta walls and thatched timber roofs, which transport you to your own exotic Latin oasis. Its glamorous, yet sophisticated setting creates the height of harmony, where you’ll be able to completely relax and rejuvenate.
A short 30 minute transfer from Los Cabos International airport and you’ll shortly find yourself at the Esperanza Resort, where your paradise break can begin to unfold. If you want to enjoy some chic nightlife, the Esperanza also more than delivers: a further 15 minutes along the Transpeninsular Highway will take you into the bustling hub of young, trendy socialites – the world-recognised party city of Cabo set against the vibrant San Lucas bay and beaches. San Lucas bay, thanks to the Pacific’s immense waves, allows for world-class surfing so if you’re feeling sporty, grab a board and get paddling.
All rooms range from charming casitas to stylish suites and grand villas. Airy, elegant and equipped with all mod cons, rooms boast comfort as well as splendour, all with a pristine panorama of the Pacific Ocean meeting the Sea of Cortez. To truly appreciate this exquisite ocean view, outdoor terraces run throughout – suites and villas accompanied with a private plunge pool or infinity jacuzzi. For you honeymooners, the Esperanza couldn’t offer a more romantic atmosphere to settle into.
Why We Like It
The Esperanza is bursting with a huge variety of exciting activities to get involved in should you tear yourself away from the beach. We loved the whale watching between January and March, where you will be fortunate enough to see the majestic Grey Whale in the wild. Alternatively, if you fancy yourself as a bit of an adrenaline-junkie, get off the beaten track by ripping up Baja California’s sand dunes from inside the latest in desert car design.
