The Sarojin, Khao Lak
Set within 10 acres of tropical gardens which slip into a pristine white sand beach, you’ll really feel as if you’re getting back to nature at the Sarojin. With 56 residences in 7 locations throughout the grounds, you feel secluded without being too far from the blissful infinity pool or the luxury spa hidden deep in the mangrove trees. Dining can also lead you down the garden path, with tables in several extraordinary locations, such as under the ancient Ficus tree or on the edge of the beach. Dinner with your toes in the sand, anyone?
Location
Just one and a half hour’s drive from Phuket International Airport, overlooking the Andaman Sea, which is perfect for year-round swimming and water sports, the Sarojin is surrounded by five splendid national parks, packed full of rainforests, caves and lagoons, not to mention pristine beaches. An idyllic tropical retreat.
Your room
Spacious, stylish and serene are the words that probably best describe the rooms at Sarojin. With king-sized beds, oriental-style low sofas and wooden ceilings, warm lighting, soft colours and natural surroundings you will be loath to leave your private space. Even the bathrooms, with their special couple’s baths and rainfall showers, are set in a garden setting. As well as all this, each room also comes with a full minibar, complimentary Wifi, and all the entertainment you could possibly want (think TVs, CD and DVD players), not that you’ll need it with all this nature surrounding you.
Why we like it
Make the most of the Sarojin’s private luxury boat, Lady Sarojin, and head out for the superb diving in the clear waters of Surin Island’s National Park. Afterwards, why not enjoy a private dinner next to a candlelit jungle waterfall?
