It began – like so many things – under the coldest of British weather conditions. Having had my fill of Leeds (my hometown), I made the decision, as if on the spur of a moment, to pack my bags and move across the world to Australia; drawn by all that laidback Melbourne living – of art galleries, beaches, wine bars. What started as three months unspooled into three years. Within that time, I managed to squeeze in traveling around Southeast Asia and a large portion of the rest of Australia. From then, I knew whatever I ended up doing would need to combine my adventurous spirit with my knack for organization.

Enter Black Tomato, where I work in the Special Projects team. It’s our job to add a little Black Tomato magic to those group trips which come with an extra twist or layer of complexity. I love to learn about what makes a moment special for different travelers, and thoughtfully weave in the smallest touches that our clients may not have even dreamt of. Outside of work, I love all things interior design, which always comes in handy when working on such events – whether it’s planning tablescapes for a Costa Rican New Year’s BBQ or hiring out the Louvre for a private dinner beside the Mona Lisa. It’s all smiles.
