Faena Hotel, Buenos Aires

Step back in time to a bygone era at the Faena Hotel. With 90 rooms flawlessly decorated in 1920s style, with red velvet and gold trims, you’ll feel the glamour of Old World elegance with every turn. Explore the sites of Buenos Aires and enjoy a day of spa treatments, then flop down by the fantastic infinity pool.

Location

In the fashionable Puerto Madera district on the waterfront, the Faena Hotel boasts fantastic views across the city or onto the water over to Uruguay. It’s just a 25 minute drive from the city’s domestic airport, or if you’re coming from further afield, a 45 minute drive from Ezeiza International airport. Either way it won’t be long be long before you’re enjoying the delights of the Faena Hotel.

Your room

All impeccably designed and decorated in an Empire Style with art chosen as a homage to Argentina, you’ll be in the absolute lap of luxury in your room or suite. There’s a variety of sizes and views to choose from, but we’re here to help you make sure you get exactly what you need. All the rooms have plush furnishings and unbelievably comfortable beds, plus marble-clad bathrooms. We love the spacious Tower Suites which offer the perfect combination of exquisite views and undeniable romance. Decorated in passionate reds, dark woods and velvet, sinking into your bed after a long day sight-seeing will be just what you need. The Executive Rooms are a smaller option, but no less luxurious with oversized leather chairs and the best views of the river. You won’t be disappointed.

Why we like it

You can’t beat the Faena Hotel for in-house entertainment. Spend the day surrounded by the antiques of the Library Lounge Café and eat a perfectly charred steak in El Bistro in the evening. El Cabaret Bar, decorated in opulent 1920s style, hosts cabaret and tango shows in the evenings to give you a taste of the local traditions. And if that really inspires you, take a tango lesson with one of the hotel’s dedicated teachers.
