Its prime location in the centre of Santiago in the glittering Lastarria neighbourhood offers you the perfect base for discovering the wonders that lie in Santiago. To get a local perspective, head out with a private guide and discover some of our favourite and most stylish barrios in uptown Santiago, before enjoying an evening of sampling fine Chilean wines and the delicious tastes of Chilean cuisine.
Pedal Power
After your cosmopolitan affair in Santiago, it’s time to become one with nature and begin your pedalling adventures through Chile’s luscious Lake District. Landing in Puerto Montt, your private driver will whisk you away to your start point where you’ll then spend the morning cycling along with pristine views of the magnificent Osorno Volcano. After a well-deserved picnic, it’s then time to head to the beautiful Cantarias Lodge to enjoy some downtime before the next day’s activities.
Waking early, you have the option of either kayaking across the crystal clear waters of the Lake District or hiking up its illustrious mountains. Whichever you choose, the afternoon promises panoramic views of the ice-capped volcanoes in the District after venturing on a two-hour hike up Casablanca Volcano. Following a unique dining experience at your lodge, it’s time to get back on your bike and taste some of the most mouth-watering jams in the lakeside town of Futrono.
Three more days of cycling through the Lake District will give you the opportunity to enjoy endless picnic lunches with exclusive views of the snow-capped volcanoes and lush greenery. We can safely say that this will be the most eye-opening cycling experience you will ever be a part of. But after days of cycling, it’s time to get back on your feet and prepare yourselves for the adventurer’s paradise that is Patagonia.
