The quintessential honeymoon destination, we’ll take you island hopping through the islands of French Polynesia stopping along the way to harvest fresh vanilla, unearth black pearls and swim with tropical marine life. In between it at all, hole up in the islands’ most luxurious resorts and iconic overwater villas and enjoy private dining experiences.
Sail across to Moorea
Touch down in Tahiti with a quick overnight to shake off any jetlag before diving headfirst into this archipelago of islands, motus and mountains in the morning. Taking to the sea, you’re headed just a short way across the water to the island of Moorea. Crowned by the jagged peak of Mount Rotui, the island is a thickly jungled drop in the ocean where adventure and relaxation beckon in equal measure. Spend three nights at the beachfront Hilton Moorea Lagoon Resort, taking plenty of time to snorkel through the lagoon and relax by the pool but saving some time to discover the island too.

To help you on your way, we’ll send you off in the company of an expert guide on a hiking adventure through the Afareaitu Valley. Clad in forest ferns and tropical fruits, you’ll discover ancient archaeological sights, hidden waterfalls and inviting natural pools to take a dip in. Take some time learning the legends of the valley and the art of braiding with coconut leaves before biting into the freshest pineapple with a tropical fruits tasting.
Black Pearls on a Vanilla Scented Island
From Moorea, it’s onto an altogether more leisurely isle, Raiatea. Known as the vanilla isle (you’ll soon see why), you’ll explore it all from the isolated bliss of Le Taha’a. A quietly luxurious cluster of overwater villas with a Relais & Chateaux restaurant, it’s a stylish way to play castaway. Do take some time to explore though, as we whisk you off on a tropical safari. Starting at the top, you’ll enjoy panoramic views over the island and beyond, perhaps spotting the shadow of Mount Otemanu on Bora Bora in the distance. From there, discover the island’s vanilla plantations and pearl farms, being sure to pick up a souvenir to remember your honeymoon by. We’ll then maroon you in style on a small motu with a gourmet picnic lunch, snorkel and mask. Back at Le Taha’a in the evening, you’ll enjoy a romantic dinner for two in a quiet corner of the island, watching the sun go down.
Hike the Valley of the Kings and Live the Lap of Luxury in Bora Bora
For your final stop on this paradisiacal honeymoon, we couldn’t have you ending anywhere other than Bora Bora with three nights of utmost luxury at Conrad Bora Bora Nui. Stretched along a pearlescent strip of sand with nothing and no one to disturb your view, it’s our favourite hideaway. For a break between hilltop spa visits and swim-up cocktails in the pool, we’ll arrange some time on the main island on a beautiful hike through the Valley of the Kings. In the company of an ethnobotanist guide, you’ll follow the Ancestor’s Path, right up to the peak where a scenic viewpoint awaits. Along the way, you’ll hear tales and legends of Bora Bora, uncover island treasures and medicinal plant uses.
Returning back to your hotel by traditional outrigger canoe, there’s plenty of time to dive into iridescent lagoon waters and swim alongside the tropical marine life. For your final night, we’ll be sure to arrange a private dinner beneath the stars with your toes sunk into the sand. Just the two of you, on a remote island at the end of the earth – it’s exactly how a honeymoon should be.
