Venture into the wilderness
After a cosy night’s sleep, there’s no hanging about as today we’re taking you to the south of the island to experience the geological spectacle of Skógafoss and Sejalandfoss waterfalls. And for a behind the scenes experience, we’ll get you walking behind Sejalandfoss for that Kodak moment. Continue the adventure by hiking and climbing the glacial wonderland of Sólheimajökull, where we’ll get you testing your climbing skills on vertical ice walls. Next, we’ll transport you in a super jeep to the glacier lagoon that is Jökulsárlón. Feel like you’ve been to here before? Well, it’s been featured in plenty of Hollywood blockbusters and we’re giving you inside access to the set. A boat-ride out onto the electric blue lagoon, you’ll cruise in between the precariously placed icebergs getting so close you’ll be able to skim your hands across the ice. Keep your eyes peeled for seals and native Icelandic wildlife including the Great Sku.

Reykjavik is famously dubbed ‘the nightlife capital of the north’ and it sure lives up to its name. So for your final night, we’ve brought you back to the capital to celebrate the end of your trip in style. Step out onto Laugavegur and cosy up in one of its assortment of restaurant and cafés before partying the night away in one of the vibrant night spots.
A break in Iceland wouldn’t be complete without a trip to a geothermal spring, so a visit to Reykjavik’s Blue Lagoon is ideal to rest those weary limbs and pamper yourself. Forget the chilly outside air temperature; the water here averages a reassuring 37 degrees celsius. Cake yourself in silica mud and indulge in a wide range of therapeutic treatments including energising massages and steam baths all before boarding your flight home.
