How long
Combining the stylish streets of Milan with the glamour of Portofino, allow us to whisk you away on a sophisticated weekend break to the Italian Riviera, Gourmet cuisine, supercars and luxurious hotels will be at your fingertips every step of the way as you embrace old-school romance and a touch of la dolce vita.
The highs of couture and cuisine in Milan
Milan is one of Europe’s most vibrant cities, brimming with arts, culture, and stylish bars and restaurants. Allow us to lead the way as we open the doors onto the fashion world’s most exclusive tailors, private artisan studios – or even a private viewing at the Museum of Modern Art. This is a city that lives and breathes fashion and so it’s only right that you come away with something to mark your time here, we suggest a bespoke pair of shoes, made for you by a master cobbler – and good friend of ours. However if it’s cuisine calling you over couture, Milan has something for you too as we organise a private wine and truffle tasting at one of the city’s finest restaurants.

Start PlanningOld-school riviera charm
Next, cruise through the rolling Italian countryside to the Italian Riviera behind the wheel of a vintage Alfa Romeo. Here, you’ll spend the next few nights at Belmond Hotel Splendido, overlooking a charming bay of pastel buildings and elegant boats. It is set in an ex-monastery, perched high amongst wooded hills with ravishing seascapes. Movie star charisma oozes from this impeccably discreet retreat, and trust us, this place is the perfect antidote to the pace and modernity of Milan.
Ancient hamlets and pristine bays
Spend time exploring Cinque Terre and its namesake five tiny villages that cling precariously to a stretch of rocky coastal cliffs. You’ll enjoy a privately guided tour through these untouched gems in whichever way you’d like to see them, by car or by private speedboat. Afterwards, wander along the seafront through olive groves, lemon trees and terraced vineyards. You’ll then end the day on the picturesque terraces of Belmond Hotel Splendido, with the obligatory aperitivo as you watch the sun go down on Portofino.
