Location

Bushman’s Kloof is set in the heart of rugged South Africa, in some of the country’s most beautiful and least explored terrain. A 2.5-hour drive from the achingly hip city of Cape Town, it’s the perfect place to get away from the bustle of the city in a truly rural African setting.

Your room

Bushmans Kloof has seven luxury rooms, all with a private patio overlooking the landscaped indigenous gardens where you can unwind with a glass of chilled South African wine whilst admiring the spectacular surroundings and weird and wonderful rock formations. Hand-made bed linen, custom made fabrics and homely yet luxurious décor create a feeling of peace. All rooms have underfloor heating and state of the art technologies, as well as luxury pampering products to soothe and revive.

We love the Spa, which has been inspired by the healing essences of Africa, has introduced its own anti-ageing body and skincare treatments, which are said to harness the power of African plant extracts and essential oils. Whatever they do, they feel and smell amazing. Not to be missed. The San rock art dotted around the surrounding countryside makes you feel like you’re in the world’s largest ancient art gallery too.
