Rosewood Villa Magna, Madrid
In Madrid’s beguiling, lively centre, you’ll find Rosewood Villa Magna. A beautifully renovated property, perfectly placed. It’s home to elegantly stylish rooms, a relaxing spa, terrace gardens, an inviting bar, fantastic restaurants to match some of Madrid’s best – and top-notch service to finish it all off. It’s a sophisticated place to stay indeed, where you’ll find the whole city is right at your fingertips.
Location
Conveniently set in the very heart of the city, Rosewood Villa Magna is just a short 20-minute drive from Madrid airport. Located on Paseo de la Castellana, a road cutting through Madrid from north to south, you’ll be excellently placed to explore the surrounding neighbourhood on foot – where many of the city’s finest restaurants and boutique shops are found. The impressive El Retiro park is within easy walking distance, and Madrid’s other major sights – including El Prado Museum, the historic Plaza Mayor and the Royal Palace – are also a short Metro (there are several stations very nearby), or taxi ride away. Put simply, Villa Magna is a prime location from which to explore Madrid.
Your room
Villa Magna’s 101 guestrooms and 53 suites are light and spacious; elegant and sophisticated in style. Think crisp white bedding, balanced by chic monochrome chevron flooring and block-colour feature walls in sage green or rusty red hues. Alongside undeniably comfortable furnishings, you’ll find your room equipped with all the amenities you could possibly hope for. The hotel’s signature suites – two located on its rooftop – are also well worth a stay. With panoramic views over Madrid, these modern, sophisticated spaces are ideal for any guests seeking the true height of luxury.
Why we like it
The hotel’s indulgent Sense Spa is one of the finest you’ll find in Madrid – featuring a sauna, steam room, hot tub and hammam. Expert therapists offer a wide array of relaxing and customised treatments, and there’s a state-of-the-art fitness centre, too, in case you needed another reason to visit. We also love Villa Magna’s comprehensive culinary offering, with multiple choices on offer. Amós restaurant, under the direction of Michelin-starred chef Jesús Sánchez, is particularly excellent – paying homage to the flavours of northern Spain.
