Tim Browning, Drone the World

After working in the film industry for over 20 years, Tim Browning’s experience in the world of photography is as broad as it is fascinating. His career started as a carpenter on the first Matrix movie, and from there has developed into one of the most coveted drone photographers in the UK. During his journey, he’s produced some of the most compelling work that we’ve seen. Most recently working as a concept artist and art director for the last two James Bond movies as well as the recent and upcoming Star Wars movies, several Tim Burton films, and many others.

For the last two years he has also been the preferred drone photography contractor for BBC Factual, single-handedly providing all the aerial photography for Professor Brian Cox’s documentary Forces Of Nature. He is also currently involved in a long-term project for National Geographic in which he has had the chance to travel to some of the most remote corners of the world.

As a drone operator, he specialises in getting the best possible equipment to the remotest and least accessible places around the world to film landscapes, people and wildlife.
