Location

Set amid 300 acres of private reserve, nature is your only neighbour at Las Lagunas. Though travel just a short distance and the wonders of Tikal, Uaxactun and Yaxha all await discovery. Closer still, Mundo Maya International Aiport in Flores is but a 10-minute drive away. Hard to believe when you arrive at this natural getaway surrounded by singing birds and shrouded in colourful flora.

Your Room

The 19 suites at Las Lagunas all offer peaceful views of Quexil Lagoon, with waterfront suites illuminated by the reflection of both sunrise and sunset. Each suite is incredibly spacious and all feature large decks from which you can soak up the views from the comfort of your private jacuzzi. Treetop or waterfront, the suites take inspiration from African bushcamps and have been designed so as to become part of their surroundings rather than rule over them.

Why we like it

Sometimes we need a bit of downtime – even when we’re on holiday. For those times, there’s yoga in Las Lagunas’s overwater pavilion. Open to the cool jungle breeze and the sounds of the creatures within, a quick vinyasa here is all you need to feel at one with this environment. Namaste.
