Jordan: Welcoming Traditions

“Welcome to Jordan.” It’s a phrase you’ll hear a lot in this peaceful country. Because while the tides of modernity are bringing ripples of cultural change, for the people of Jordan, making sure you feel warmly welcomed still remains as much a priority now as it did to their ancestors before them. In this fourth video of our journey through Jordan, we caught up with Maria from Beit Sitti, a cooking school-cum-dining club in Amman’s bustle, and some more of Jordan’s locals to experience for ourselves the renowned tradition of Jordan’s open-armed hospitality and welcoming rituals.
