Your Room

Traditional with a touch of luxury and a nod to artistic tradition, at Su Gologone juniper beams run across ceilings, artisan furnishings add an authentic touch and original artworks cover white-washed walls to give a burst of colour. What we really loved though was the addition of local crafts, such as the hand-embroidered cushions made by the women of Oliena. Take your pick between Shepherd’s Rooms which hark back to tradition or Art Suites which take inspiration from leading 20th-century Sardinian artists and feature outdoor bathrooms where bubble baths beneath the stars are the order of the day.

Why we like it

If ever you were looking for a place to channel your artistic side – Su Gologone is it. An aperitif at Magico Tablao, overlooking the spectacular views of Supramonte, is all it takes to feel inspired. And to channel this inspiration? An atelier suite, fully equipped with an assortment of brushes, canvases, colours and an easel, is on hand. A private oasis within the hotel, the Atelier Art Studio Suite also boasts it’s own private rose garden for that added extra inspiration. Masterpiece complete, you can even show it off on display in the hotel studio.
