Location

KiChic is the answer to the age-old adage of a beach break to round off a trip to Peru. An hour and 40-minute flight from Lima takes you into Talara, from where it’s just over an hour’s drive to KiChic itself. Sitting atop the golden sands of Mancora Beach and overlooking the perfect surf break, summer is a constant here. Spend your days learning to kitesurf alongside the experts and soaking in the sun on the beach – or swing by between June and October and catch sight of the humpback whales that pass on by.

Why we like it

KiChic truly is unlike anywhere else in Peru. One step onto the Mancora Beach and you know it as the clock seemingly stops and the rest of the world fades away. Here, days are spent crafting a mandala alongside local woman, Sol, and relaxing on KiChic’s custom built ocean raft. Whilst the nights, those are for innovative cuisine and films beneath the stars with the sand between your toes at KiChic’s private cinema on the beach.
